If your child is on packed lunches please provide a good range of food for your child’s packed lunch and only include a maximum of 1 treat per lunchbox e.g. sweet treats, crisps and drinks.
Please may we ask that a reasonable amount of food is sent in as children are missing out on their social time due to the amount of food in their lunchboxes.
Healthy Snacks in School
We participate in the National Fruit Scheme. This means that all children in Key Stage 1 have fruit or vegetables, free of charge, each day at morning play. The National Fruit Scheme is not available for children in Key Stage 2 so children should bring fruit if they want to eat at morning break. No other snacks should be brought to school.
Children can have a carton of milk each day (under 5’s is free). For all other pupils milk can be ordered directly through Cool Milk and money paid to them at a subsidised rate. The link is: www.coolmilk.com Tel: 0844 8542913
Drinking water is available in school. Each child has their own bottle of water in class available to them throughout the day. Fizzy drinks are not allowed.
