Our role in the school is to be the pupil leadership team and help the Headteacher, Staff and Governors in their mission to improve our school and make it even more successful!

We have had to apply for this responsible role and we take it extremely seriously. We are a group of pupils from Year 5 and Year 6 and we all have individual skills and qualities which we bring to the team. We have a notice board in school which has photographs of all the members and information about forthcoming meetings.

We are responsible for seeking the views of pupils and attending meetings which are recorded in our school council files. We aim to include all children in this process so everyone has their say.

Meetings are held regularly throughout the year and are valued by both staff and pupils alike.

This year, we have organised a MacMillian Coffee Morning to support and raise money for the charity. Parents and carers joined us for a cake and coffee to help us raise £269! In November, we led a Remembrance Sunday assembly for the whole school to remind us of the fallen soldiers. We also organised a spotty non-school uniform day to raise £100 for Children in Need!
